Advanced Nutritional Therapies
Correcting deficiencies and optimizing brain chemistry is a cornerstone of Dr. Juliani's approach to lasting neurological wellness.
Dr. Juliani offers a comprehensive range of injectable nutritional therapies — going far beyond standard supplementation to deliver nutrients directly where the brain and nervous system need them most.
Vitamin B12
Critical for myelin sheath health — the protective coating around nerve fibers. Deficiency leads to peripheral neuropathy, memory loss, cognitive decline, and chronic fatigue. Correcting B12 levels can halt and sometimes reverse neurological damage.
Vitamin D
Supports nerve growth, neurotransmitter production, and inflammation control. Low levels are linked to increased migraine frequency, mood disorders, brain fog, and cognitive impairment.
Glutathione
The body's master antioxidant, glutathione protects neurons from oxidative stress and inflammation. It plays a critical role in cognitive function, brain detoxification, and slowing neurodegeneration — including the progression of dementia and Parkinson's disease.
NAD+
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is essential for cellular energy production and DNA repair. Declining NAD+ levels are directly linked to cognitive decline, accelerated aging, and neurodegeneration. Replenishing NAD+ supports sharper cognition, improved energy, and may help slow the progression of dementia.

Functional Medicine
A separate, self-pay service — not billed through insurance.
Understanding Our Approach
What Is a Functional Medicine Approach?
Functional medicine is a patient-centered approach that looks beyond individual symptoms to understand the underlying factors that may be contributing to them. Rather than focusing on a single organ system or diagnosis, it considers how different aspects of your health — including nutrition, hormones, metabolism, lifestyle, medications, and other medical conditions — may interact.
Using a detailed medical history, diagnostic testing when appropriate, and an individualized treatment plan, the goal is to identify and address contributing factors while improving symptoms, overall health, and quality of life.
Comprehensive Evaluation & Longitudinal Care
As part of concierge membership, Dr. Juliani takes a functional medicine approach — going beyond symptom management to identify and address the underlying contributors to your neurological conditions. This means evaluating nutrition, hormonal balance, sleep quality, gut health, autoimmune markers, and inflammatory factors alongside traditional neurology. Rather than treating conditions in isolation, Dr. Juliani looks at the whole person to build a care plan that supports lasting brain health, not just short-term relief.
Nutritional Optimization
Correcting vitamin and mineral deficiencies — B12, Vitamin D, and key micronutrients — that directly impact nerve function, cognition, and headache frequency.
Dysautonomia, POTS & Autonomic Health
Comprehensive autonomic evaluation for patients with dysautonomia and POTS, investigating nutritional, hormonal, and systemic contributors.
MTHFR Evaluation
MTHFR evaluation and methylated B vitamin protocols for patients with the MTHFR mutation — a common contributor to brain fog, fatigue, depression, and neurological dysfunction.
Autoimmune & Inflammatory Testing
Expanded laboratory testing for chronic inflammation and autoimmune conditions such as Lupus, Celiac disease, and autoimmune thyroid disease, as well as evaluation for prior or persistent infections.
Anxiety & Insomnia
Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of anxiety and insomnia — investigating hormonal, nutritional, and systemic contributors alongside traditional management.
Lifestyle & Prevention
Personalized guidance on diet, exercise, stress management, and sleep hygiene to reduce triggers and build neurological resilience.
Concierge Functional Medicine
Self-pay only — not billed through insurance. Contact us for current appointment rates.
Dr. Juliani's functional medicine practice goes beyond treating symptoms — it investigates the underlying contributors to your neurological and systemic health. These appointments are conducted outside of insurance and billed directly at self-pay rates, allowing Dr. Juliani the time and flexibility to provide the depth of evaluation and personalized care that this approach requires.
Functional medicine appointments are self-pay only and are not covered by or billed through insurance. Rates differ from standard neurology visits. Please contact our office for current pricing.
MTHFR Evaluation & Treatment
The MTHFR mutation impairs methylation — a process critical for neurotransmitter production, DNA repair, detoxification, and energy metabolism. Dr. Juliani provides comprehensive MTHFR evaluation and personalized methylated B vitamin protocols to restore proper methylation, reduce chronic fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, and depression, and improve quality of life.
Dysautonomia & POTS
Comprehensive autonomic evaluation for patients with dysautonomia and POTS — investigating nutritional, hormonal, and systemic contributors with the extended time these complex cases require.
