Vitamins, Nutrients & Neurological Health
Nutritional deficiencies are among the most underdiagnosed contributors to neurological damage. Dr. Juliani screens for and actively corrects these deficiencies as part of every comprehensive care plan.
Vitamin B12
Essential for myelin sheath integrity — the protective coating around nerve fibers. Deficiency causes peripheral neuropathy, memory loss, cognitive decline, and chronic fatigue. Correcting B12 levels can halt and sometimes reverse neurological damage.
Vitamin D
Supports nerve growth, neurotransmitter synthesis, and inflammation regulation. Low levels are strongly linked to increased migraine frequency, mood disorders, brain fog, and cognitive impairment.
Glutathione
Often called the body’s “master antioxidant,” glutathione plays an important role in protecting cells and neurons from oxidative stress and supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes. Glutathione levels and oxidative stress are being studied for their potential roles in brain health, cognitive function, aging, and neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
NAD+
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is essential for cellular energy production, mitochondrial function, and DNA repair. NAD+ levels naturally decline with age and have been studied in connection with cellular aging, oxidative stress, and neurological health. Supporting NAD+ metabolism may help promote cellular energy and healthy brain function. NAD+ and its precursors continue to be studied for their potential role in cognitive health and neurodegenerative conditions.
MTHFR Evaluation & Treatment
Certain MTHFR gene mutations can be among the most common and overlooked contributors to chronic fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, and neurological dysfunction. These variants can impair the body's ability to convert folate into its active form, disrupting methylation and homocysteine metabolism — processes critical for neurological health, neurotransmitter production, DNA repair, detoxification, and energy production. Dr. Juliani offers comprehensive MTHFR evaluation alongside folate, vitamin B12, homocysteine, nutritional status and other potential contributors to symptoms, and personalized treatment to restore proper methylation, reduce symptoms, and improve quality of life.
Comprehensive MTHFR evaluation
Personalized methylation support protocols
Methylated B vitamin therapy (B12 & folate)
Treatment for chronic fatigue, brain fog & mood disorders
Ongoing monitoring and dosage adjustment
Personalized Neurological Care on Your Terms
Our concierge program offers direct access to Dr. Juliani for patients who want more time, more answers, and a deeper level of care. No rushed appointments — just thorough, comprehensive neurology with a functional medicine approach.
Dr. Juliani's functional medicine practice goes beyond treating symptoms — it investigates the underlying contributors to your neurological and systemic health. These appointments are conducted outside of insurance and billed directly at self-pay rates, allowing Dr. Juliani the time and flexibility to provide the depth of evaluation and personalized care that this approach requires.
Extended Appointments
Longer visits mean Dr. Juliani can fully evaluate your history, symptoms, and lifestyle — not just the chief complaint.
Comprehensive Care
Comprehensive evaluation and longitudinal care for patients with persistent, overlapping or difficult-to-explain symptoms.
Membership Tiers
Essential, Premium, and Elite plans with flexible monthly or annual pricing.
Comprehensive Evaluation & Longitudinal Care
Standard neurology treats symptoms. Dr. Juliani goes further — using a functional medicine approach to investigate the underlying contributors to your neurological conditions. That means evaluating nutrition, hormones, sleep, gut health, autoimmune markers, and inflammation alongside traditional neurology.
Many patients suffering from chronic fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, neuropathy, or treatment-resistant migraines have an underlying contributor that has never been identified. Functional medicine finds it.
MTHFR Evaluation
MTHFR evaluation and methylated B vitamin protocols for patients with the MTHFR mutation — a common contributor to brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, and depression.
Autoimmune & Inflammatory Testing
Expanded laboratory testing for chronic inflammation and autoimmune conditions such as Lupus, Celiac disease, and autoimmune thyroid disease.
Infection Evaluation
Evaluation for prior or persistent infections that may be contributing to neurological and systemic symptoms.
Nutritional Deficiency Correction
Targeted B12, Vitamin D, and micronutrient assessment and correction — deficiencies that silently drive migraines, neuropathy, and fatigue.
